The cleat holds the halyard tight at the base of the tower and lets the crew raise and lower the flag from the ground. Ours is an oversized 12 in galvanized steel cleat, sized for our halyard and built to handle constant tension.

The galvanized finish resists corrosion for long life in all weather.

The kit includes every tool needed to mount it: 3/8 in stainless steel mounting screws and washers, a 13/32 transfer punch, a 5/16 in drill bit, a 3/8-16 thread cutting tap with holder, and a 5/16 in hex key. No extra parts run before the install.
